You ARE getting more of whatever you are vibrating. It's really not so much what you are thinking about but rather HOW you are thinking about it that kicks Law into motion. For instance, you may be doing prosperity affirmations everyday, but if you are doing them from a consciousness of scarcity and lack, you are vibrating scarcity and lack. This means that no matter how much money you do or do not have, you will FEEL fearful and depleted.
You focus far too much on the form of things when it is actually the content which has the most impact on you. This modern phenomenon of hoarding and storage units is proof that the accumulation of objects only increases the feeling of emptiness when the mind believes in lack. Even your "homeless" people often push shopping carts full of meaningless garbage which is their "treasure" and part of their self-identification.
Remember, all the things of this world are neutral - even bodies and relationships are neutral. What gives everything meaning is mind. Mind projects and endows meaning. Therefore, BE CONSCIOUS of what meaning you are projecting and FOCUS on content rather than on form. Form is always in a state of the cycling of birth, death and rebirth. It is completely unstable.
The way of the Urban Mystic Miracle Worker is to invoke and infuse. Call forth the very best which is within all life forms by focusing your attention on what is good and true and lovely. Infuse all that you do with the energies of love, joy, peace and kindness. You will find that the magical qualities of your life begin to quicken as everything lines up with your positive focus. People will wonder how you are always at the right place at the right time - how you always get first class treatment - how things seem to "fall in your lap" - how opportunities seem to arise from "out of nowhere" - how problems seem to solve themselves while you are busy napping. And you will tell them that there is no real magic here, no hocus pocus - YOU have learned the power of something mystical and yet very real that we call FOCUS POCUS.
